This initiative supports students preparing to go to university with employable skills for part time work in the café sector – giving them an opportunity to supplement funds while studying… and of course beyond. Led by Mr. Nat Paolone from Silvi Coffee Roasters, students will learn about the agricultural processes for coffee, coffee regions, coffee science, basic roasting techniques, various brewing methods, with a focus on barista skills. Students will be expected to make a minimum of 100 espresso-based drinks during the course to easily enter a café for employment. This weekly training programme will run across two terms and culminate in a Barista Training certificate, and a valuable skill that can be added to student resumes.

Shichiji Family - From Japan
We are Max (6), Jonas (9), Maren and Daniel. Coming from Germany we were looking for a school that offers both – German and English classes as well as an international environment with pupils from all over the world to socialize with. EIS was our choice! EIS offers our kids a learning environment full of life, activities and encouragement. Class sizes are limited and the IB curriculum supports our kid’s school careers in a smooth but also demanding and performance driven way.
Max and Jonas enjoy the broad offer of after school activities and the possibility to explore different subjects in a playful and supportive environment. The big number of opportunities and events organized by the school to involve parents in the school community complement the positive impression we have gained from EIS throughout the past 6 months.
Kernbach Family – From Germany
Our son Lucian is now in his second year at EIS, in Early Years, and loves it! EIS offers top quality education while maintaining a fantastic community feel. The staff and teachers are professional and caring, and as parents we benefit from excellent, open communication from the school about what is going on, and how our son is progressing. We are super happy that we chose EIS.
