Parent Council

The European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS) believes that parental engagement is crucial to the healthy development of children and young adults. Research has shown that when parents actively engage in their child's education, children are more likely to be successful, happy, and confident at school and in the world beyond formal education. EIS encourages parents to nurture their interest in the learning and teaching at EIS as valued members of our community.

Our Parents Council meets monthly with school leadership to discuss ideas and projects that they feel are important to the school and its community. It is a representative body that works closely with the Class Parent Representatives and all parents and guardians of children across all year groups.

Many EIS parents contribute to the school's events and activities before progressing to leadership roles and managing more significant community events, such as our International Language Day, EIS Fun Day, or EIS Movie Night.
