Message from the Head of School 

Our son Lucian is now in his second year at EIS, in Early Years, and loves it! EIS offers top quality education while maintaining a fantastic community feel. The staff and teachers are professional and caring, and as parents we benefit from excellent, open communication from the school about what is going on, and how our son is progressing. We are super happy that we chose EIS.

My family has been part of this community for more than 3 years now and has seen so many positive changes in the school as it continues to grow and expand. What impresses me the most is the Open Door Policy which applies throughout from the teachers all the way up to the senior management.

With effective communication being so vital I find the schools pro active approach of using additional tools such as Social Media, Weekly Newsletters and Class Weeblies very impressive I am always up to date with all the events and happenings. New Ideas are always welcome and we as Parents are included and encouraged to lead many activities throughout the school year. Excellent examples of these would be International Language Day, Reading in Class, Family Fun Day and Movie Nights of which I make a point of attending.

Being a multicultural, multination school with 39 Nationalities represented throughout the grades I find their mission statement a true foundation on which the school values are brought to life by all members of EIS faculty. This is in turn instilled into the students from Early Years all the way through to High School. The growth and maturity displayed by the students is clearly visible through their development.

Having been expatriated throughout Europe, The Middle East and Asia over the last 13 years in multiple locations my family and I have been exposed to various educational systems. When I was looking for a school for my 2 daughters EIS was the perfect fit, I love the campus with its unique design and clever use of space, the individual villas, the IB curriculum and the language program which is the best in HCMC. I would happily recommend EIS as one of the top Educational Institutions in Ho Chi Minh City.

37ヶ国のNationality.娘のクラスにも同じ国の生徒がほとんどおらず、仲が非常に良い。International Schoolの醍醐味だと思う。ドイツ語が大好きになり、将来的に勉強したいと思っている。
先生方がユニーク、温かで、分け隔てない。
スタッフは優しく素晴らしい。中でもScienceの先生は特に面白い授業をされる。
入学担当の方のきめ細やかさは他校に比べ、群を抜いている。EISはチャリティーに積極的に参加娘は学校行事やチャリティーを通じて社会に貢献したいと思っている。
バイオリンを弾いたり、ボランティアをしてチャリティーに参加。

When we moved to Vietnam from Australia, our daughter had been at a small, child centred school and it was important to find a good fit. The European International School was perfect with its warm, friendly village feel. As Sage was still young, seven at the time, a nurturing, creative and inclusive environment was essential to her well being. We found this at EIS and it has continued to be so, Sage is now in her fourth year. The Primary Years Program was also a big drawcard for us as it is an internationally available program that Sage can continue on with when we move home. Parent involvement is encouraged, whether it be as a class parent representative, member of the Parents Council, community events or in the classroom. We have always found our ideas, concerns and opinions can be voiced and heard. I love that Sage has had the opportunity to be exposed to different cultures both through fellow students, teachers and also learning a second language. Although the facilities are limited at EIS, Sage has been able to join the choir and swim team which has competed internationally. The size of the school really allows opportunities for students which they may otherwise not have and is continually looking for ways to involve students, parents and teachers in school life.

We are Spanish family and our kids Valeria (6 years old) and Claudia (4 years old) started in EIS 3 years ago when we arrived to HCMC. Our experience in the school has been amazing since the beginning and we have always felt as a part of a big EIS community with plenty of activities for the whole family (Xmas fair, Saturday movie nights, Tet festival, United Nations Day, etc.) and our kids have really enjoyed a multicultural experience together with teachers, school staff and their colleges from all around the world, they have learnt many things but the most important ones are to understand and valued different cultures, languages, traditions and celebrations. Definitely we will recommend the experience in EIS HCMC and we will miss EIS community.

こんにちは。新しいホームページのEISについての「家族の言葉」をかいてみたのですが、色々書きたいことがあり過ぎて最初は350文字くらいになってしまい、文字数減らしたのですが260文字くらいあります。。200文字以下にしたほうがいいでしょうか？その場合はまた文字数減らします。私たち家族が学校を決める上で重要視した事がIBスクールであること、規模が大きすぎないこと、学校見学の時に子供自身の学校についての印象が良い事でした。それらにピッタリ当てはまったのがEISでした。学校見学ではエミリーさんが日本語で親身になって対応してくださり、カリキュラムの説明ではセカンダリーヘッドマスターが自ら分かりやすく説明をして下さいました。そしてなにより生徒たちが先生方ととても楽しそうに学校生活を送っている様子に魅力を感じてEISに入学を決めました。入学後は子供自身、学校生活にもすぐに慣れ意欲的に毎日楽しく学校に通っています。
