After an incredibly challenging two years, the hard work, focus and resilience of our Grade 12 IB Diploma cohort have certainly been rewarded. Despite the unprecedented Covid-related transitions between online, hybrid and face-to-face lessons, our students are celebrating exceptional results from their recent IB assessments.

Their continued success is also reflected in the impressive number of university offers and scholarships they have received – with over 50 renowned colleges and universities from around the world showing serious interest in our students.

In fact, with 75 per cent of EIS students earning a Bilingual Diploma, a majority of our students are enjoying a multiple offer situation, with up to twelve international universities vying for their attention. Plus, many have received an array of merit-based scholarships to fund their tuition, textbooks and living expenses.

Our highly interactive, nurturing environment and dedicated team of teachers and education specialists have prepared our students to be global citizens who can compete against the best on the international stage. Accordingly, a number of our Grade 12 students are currently considering offers from universities in the UK and US, Canada, Spain, Germany, Australia, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong.

In addition, our students are planning degrees in a wide array of subjects and fields. These include Medicine, Applied Medical Sciences, Art History, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Biochemical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences, to name a few.

EIS Principal John Veitch is delighted with these outstanding achievements, which recognise the effort, engagement, and enthusiasm every student has devoted to their IB Diploma studies.

“We are incredibly proud that our Grade 12 students managed a very difficult two years with the Covid pandemic,” he said. “They had times when they were either locked down at home, studying online and then learning in a hybrid fashion. Their final IB Diploma results have been very pleasing to our whole community.”

Nadim M Nsouli, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Inspired Education Group, added, “We are proud of each of our students for the hard work they have put into achieving their ambitions, and they deserve the excellent university destinations and exciting future pathways that such great results deliver.”

While Nicholas Wergan, Inspired’s Global Education Director, commented, “This shows the depth of character of our students – results like this require curiosity and aspirations to aim high, and the grit and self-confidence to achieve those dreams; we are delighted for our students at these deserved achievements and grateful to our fantastic teaching teams for enabling this success.”

The IB Diploma Programme emphasises the importance of independent learning and offers a challenging pre-university course of study. This degree of autonomy enables Grade 11 and 12 students to gain confidence in their own abilities while developing effective self-management, study and time management skills. These valuable lessons provide students with a significant head-start over their peers, allowing them to easily transition to tertiary study and life beyond the classroom.
