Fresh from completing Grade 8 in the Vietnamese national curriculum, he now enters Grade 9 at EIS with an unmistakable sense of purpose and maturity far beyond his years. For him, the scholarship represents more than academic recognition - it’s a signal that “no matter where you come from, dedication, resilience, and passion can open doors.”
“I’ve always dared to dream big and do the impossible,” he says. “This award gives me confidence not just to grow as a learner and an artist, but to contribute to the Inspired community with kindness and determination.”
A Vision Beyond the Classroom
Stepping onto the lush, green, “village-style” campus of EIS, he looks forward to more than rigorous academics. What excites him most is being part of a multicultural, inclusive community of students who are equally curious, passionate, and open to the world.
He envisions himself practicing violin one moment and diving into a science project the next. “I hope to find a place where learning and friendship go hand in hand - where I’m not only challenged but inspired to grow as a responsible global citizen.”
The opportunity to study the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is something he eagerly anticipates, especially its balance between academic rigour and global mindedness. He is also thrilled at the doors the Inspired Education Group could open - exchanges, leadership programs, and international competitions that could broaden his worldview and sharpen his talents.
Ambitions That Reach for the Stars
Already a dedicated violinist aiming to complete his ABRSM Grade 8 in the coming years, he doesn’t just play music - he lives it. He also harbours deep ambitions in mathematics, hoping to one day sit the MAT exam and gain admission to Oxford University, where he dreams of studying in the very halls that inspired his mentors. Harvard is another beacon - specifically its famously challenging Math 55 course.
“It’s not just the difficulty that excites me,” he explains, “but the idea of growing alongside others who are just as passionate about math as I am.”
His dream job? Either an astronaut or an astronomical mathematician - proof of his boundless curiosity and hunger to explore not just subjects, but the universe itself.
Despite his clear goals, he also values flexibility: “There are thousands of possibilities ahead. I want to leave space to grow, to shift, and to discover what I truly want without pressure. That’s also part of learning.”
Inspired by Greatness, Motivated by Mentorship
He draws inspiration from three powerful figures who have shaped his journey. The first is Albert Einstein, whose quote “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious” helped him see the power of curiosity over raw talent. The second is Đỗ Liên Quang, author of “Từ Trường Làng Ra Thế Giới”, whose story of rising from a rural school to international scholarship lit the path he now follows.
But perhaps most touching is his tribute to Mr. Mike, his math teacher and mentor, himself a former scholar now paying it forward. “He reminded me that failure isn’t the end - just part of the journey. He believed in me when I was ready to give up.”
A Passionate Soul Beyond Academics
Outside of school, he’s a violinist, an aspiring psychologist, and a keen observer of human behaviour. Whether it’s quietly analysing how people interact in public or studying their reactions during emotional moments, he is always learning. And though he’s never left Vietnam, he’s long dreamt of travelling - of exploring cultures, cuisines, and stories across countries like Germany, Italy, Russia, England, and the USA.
“The Nsouli scholarship isn’t just a scholarship - it’s a chance to see the world, to learn from it, and maybe one day, inspire others to dream too.”
As he begins his new journey at EIS, one thing is certain: this scholar is not just joining a school -he’s stepping into his future with fire, focus, and fearless imagination.
The Nsouli Scholars Scholarship, offered by Inspired Education Group, is one of the most prestigious and competitive global scholarship opportunities for young students, designed to empower exceptional learners with access to world-class education across Inspired’s international network of schools.
