Students are given space and time to develop their artistic talents, social competencies, physical endurance and skills, as well as having fun in a supervised and supportive environment.

BRIDGING EDUCATION CONFERENCE 
A reminder that school will be closed on Friday, 16th November. Teachers will be attending a professional development conference organized by the Vietnam International Schools Network.   In addition to attending workshops some of our teachers will also be presenting to their colleagues in other schools as follow:

TEACHERS’ DAY ASSEMBLY
The celebration of Teachers’ Day is an important occasion in Vietnam when students recognize and show appreciation for teachers who have contributed to their learning and development.
We will hold a special assembly on Tuesday, November 20th to mark Teachers Day and for students and parents to show gratitude to our teachers.

ACCREDITATION, SAFEGUARDING AND OTHER SCHOOL MATTERS (message in Vietnamese)
There will be a meeting for Vietnamese (in Vietnamese) parents to discuss school accreditation, safeguarding policy and other matters on Thursday, November 22nd at 7.00pm in the LRC.

YEARBOOK PHOTOGRAPHS
Yearbook photos will be taken between Monday 19th – Wednesday 21st November by Pret-a-portrait. Parents please check the schedule here and remind your children to wear school uniform (not PE uniform) on the days of photo sessions.
Pret-a-portrait will organise FAMILY PHOTOS (including siblings) after school hours on Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th November from 17:00 – 19:30. Please book directly with them online via this link: https://eurointschool.eventbrite.co.uk. They can take photos for 2 families per each time slot.

EIS CHRISTMAS BAZAAR 2018
The Christmas Bazaar event will be held on Saturday 1st December, starting from 15:00 with various fun activities, a market fair, students’ performances and of course, Santa! There is no entrance ticket required and we welcome all the community.  More information is available from our Marketing Department at marketing@eishcmc.com or (28) 7300 7257. SCHOOL CALENDAR
It has come to our attention that some parents may be referencing a draft calendar for school year 2018/19 that was made available last March. The correct calendar is posted on our website and is attached. The main difference is in the dates of school holidays in April.
