European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS) offers a rich and diverse programme of After School Activities (ASAs) for all students from Early Years to Grade 12, most of which are included within the tuition fee. Students are given space and time to develop their artistic talents, social competencies, physical endurance and skills, as well as having fun in a supervised and supportive environment.

Parent Teacher Student Conferences
Thank you to parents for attending the Parent Teacher Student Conferences this week. We hope that you found the sessions worthwhile and helpful in understanding the progress of your child. If you would like a follow up appointment to clarify any concerns please contact the teacher directly or Ms. Trinh who can make arrangements for you.

School Photographs
Pret-A-Portrait are visiting the school this week to take individual and class photographs for publication in the school Yearbook.

Air Quality
We have revised an Air Quality Guidelines chart, which outlines clearly the actions that teachers and staff are informed to take, for different levels of air quality. This can be accessed here.
Meet the SLT
The next “Meet the SLT” meeting will take place on next Monday, November 4th, at 8.00am in the MPR. The theme for information and discussion will be the school’s policies and procedures regarding “Safeguarding and Child Protection”. Please sign up for your attendance via this form.

Launch of Parent Portal
Thank you to the CPRs for providing feedback on our new Parent Portal that has informed some changes and modifications. In the coming weeks we will launch the portal to selected focus groups for further testing and feedback.

Professional Development Day: Friday, November 15th
Please note on the school calendar that there will no school on Friday, November 15th. Teachers will be participating in the ‘’Be Together Conference” which is co-organized by international schools in HCMC.
