Diploma Programme (Grades 11-12)

The IB Diploma Programme (DP - Grades 11 and 12) is a pre-university qualification recognised by universities in more than 140 countries. An academically challenging and balanced programme of education, the DP prepares students for success at university and in life after graduation. It emphasises the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students, and prepares students for effective participation in a rapidly evolving and increasingly global society.

The DP at the European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS) is designed to:

  • Promote students’ development physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically
  • Enable the acquisition of breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, studying courses from six subject groups

Extra Activities

Students at The European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS) learn about international diplomacy and policy development through their participation in the Model United Nations (MUN) programme. MUN has become a favorite after-school activity at EIS, particularly among older students who are highly engaged in world issues and enjoy navigating the technicalities of UN style resolution writing and speaking procedures. 

Russian School for Russian speaking children in HCMC is run at The European International School Ho Chi Minh City (EIS) everyday for after school activities. These classes re aimed at Russian speaking children to develop their reading and writing skills. Come along to enhance your Spanish skills by having conversation and playing games. This is for native speakers only.

This activity is available to all students with a foundation level of Chinese who would like to enhance their language development in a fun and interactive environment.

An unofficial 'best-of' everything we offer at VinSpace! Students enjoy a mix of painting, sketching, art & craft, animation and printing. The club focuses on showing the breadth and variety of art with a large span of skills, materials and activities. A great 'all rounder' that tries to inspire and introduce students to the possibilities of Art. 

Open-ended 2D and 3D creative projects focusing on visual art skills. 

Students learn 3D design skills to transform ideas to real products. 

Come along and improve your Maths knowledge and skills by using hands on materials and playing games!

By having to control a physical robot and seeing what goes wrong, students learn what robots can and cannot do. They also learn the need for precise instructions.
